Boeing 707 cargo plane carrying 9 people crashes in Iran

A Boeing 707 cargo plane with nine people on board crashed on today near Iran’s Fath airport, west of the capital, Tehran, Iranian news agency reported, no immediate information on casualties was reported.

Fath airport is near Karaj in the central province of Alborz. Iranian state television broadcasted pictures of smoke rising from the crash site.
