Abu Dhabi Police launches smart car impoundment system

As of next June, Abu Dhabi Police will activate the Smart Vehicle Impoundment service, enabling car owners to keep their cars on their own premises instead of police-designated impoundment yards.

The smart impoundment fee will be AED 15 per day booked and distributed at all service centres in External Areas, Al Ain and Al Dhafra Traffic Departments as of next month.
