Four defendants are on trial for a case of an Asian ‘Emirates Post’ employee who stole 100 national identity cards and sold them to the second defendant, who in turn sold them to the third after being convinced by the fourth accused. The accused admitted embezzlement of identities while working for the Emirates Post branch in Al Karama.
The second accused admitted buying the cards from the first defendant at 80 dirhams per card and selling them to the third defendant for 100 dirhams per card, while the latter sold them to a fourth person for 105 dirhams per card.
