WATCH: NCM reports rainfall across UAE, issues poor visibility warning

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), heavy rain has been reported on parts of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.

NCM posted a warning through its official Twitter account, stating: “Please drive carefully during rainfall and fresh to strong winds at times, causing blowing dust and sand tend to poor horizontal visibility. Also, we advised you to stay away from valleys and running water areas.”

Ras Al Khaimah police called on the public to exercise caution and avoid valleys, mountains and the sea.
