Abu Dhabi: Arab man on trial for beating his wife

The Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal postponed the ruling on the case of an Arab accused of beating and threatening his wife with death, in addition to threatening his daughter.

When asked by the court, the defendant confirmed that the accusation against him was false and that his daughter was 16 years old, and is only saying what her mother wants her to say. “This is not the first time my wife has turned my daughter against me” the defendant stated.
