Sharjah: 16-month-old Arab girl falls off apartment window

A 16-month-old Arab girl was moderately injured by falling from the balcony of her family’s first-floor apartment in the city of Kalba in Sharjah.

The Kalba Police Station received a report at 4:00 PM  on Friday from the Fujairah Police, which were notified by the Fujairah hospital. The police visited the building and carried out an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Initial investigation revealed that the girl climbed to the window and fell off it without her parents noticing it.

Investigations are underway and the prosecution has ordered the parents to be charged with negligence.
