Dubai: Man lures boy to see flamingos, molests him

Dubai court received a 33-year-old worker who molested a 9-year-old boy in Ras Al Khor reserve. The man reportedly tricked the child to go see the flamingos with him and then molested him.

The accused denied the charge at the Court of First Instance. Investigations revealed that the boy was with his parents at the reserve. The boy stated that man came and told him to go to see the flamingos with him, he then hugged him tightly from behind and inappropriately touched him while they were away from sight.

The boy ran away from the man and told his father who was filming the birds. The father described the worker as being agitated and scared when he was confronted about the incident.

The defendant will be sentenced on March 12.
