Sharjah: Ruler announces another salary increase for non-Emirati employees

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah announced another 10% salary increase for non-Emirati employees, this time, police officers in Sharjah.

This comes after his highness announced on Saturday, a 10 per cent increase for non-Emirati employees retroactively from the start of January this year.

His Highness had ordered a Dh600 million increase in the salaries of the emirate’s government employees which was implemented on January 1, 2018 for only Emirati nationals, who shall no more be categorized below the 8th grade.
