Sharjah ruler directs to reduce power tariff in properties owned by non-Emiratis

Starting January 1, 2019, H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah directs SEWA to reduce the tariff of electricity in the properties owned by non-Emiratis, to 37% of total consumption, which will benefit more than 50,000 people in Sharjah.

The reduction has come into effect on January 1, 2019 and will be reflected in this month’s bill for residents of the emirate.
