Sharjah Police arrests man for viral video of Asian men in a bird cage

After some videos went viral on social media sites that reflected a picture of intolerable football fanaticism, Sharjah Police confirms they have reached to those who filmed and posted those videos and referred them to the Public Prosecution.

UAE Attorney General stated that Legal action was taken against the man who recorded a video of detaining a group of Asian men in a bird cage to force them to cheer the UAE national team, considering that this behavior is a crime punishable by law and does not reflect the values of tolerance in the UAE community.
