New Year’s holiday announced for the private sector in UAE

Tuesday, 1 January 2019, was announced to be an official paid leave for private sector employees in the UAE on the occasion of New Year celebrations.

This came in a circular issued by HE Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation as an implementation of the UAE Cabinet’s decision in this regard.
