UAE announces Ramadan working hours for public sector

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issues a circular regarding determining official working hours for employees of ministries and federal entities during the month of Ramadan:

• 9 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday the working hours are from 9 AM to 12 PM. Those whose work requires otherwise are excluded.

• Ministries and federal entities may – and in accordance with their work interest – apply the flexible or remote work system within the limits of the number of working hours approved per day.
