RAK: Two workers buried alive while digging a well

Teams from search and rescue department of Ras Al Khaimah police recovered bodies of two Asian workers who died after a pile of sand collapsed on them while they were digging a well in a house.
Captain Mohammad Ali Al Nuaimi, deputy director of Al Mamoura police station said the victims aged 25 and 28 were digging a well when the sand collapse on them.
The two bodies were recovered from the 20 meters deep well and an investigation carried out regarding the incident.
RAK police urged the public to get the necessary permissions for digging a well inside the houses and follow safety instructions to prevent such accidents.
