Arabic Language Academy concludes participation in Al Ain Book Festival

 The Sharjah-based Arabic Language Academy (ALA) concluded its participation in the events of the 13th Al Ain Book Festival session, which concluded on 20th November.
The academy managed to raise awareness of its ground-breaking activities and programmes that elevate the Arabic language, as well as its initiatives to publish resources in which leading language academies from the Arab world participate, through its participation in local, Arab, and global cultural events.

The academy displayed the 36 volumes of the “Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language” that were completed. H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, recently unveiled 19 of the volumes displayed at the festival.

Attendees at the book festival learnt about ALA and the “Arabic Language Centre” it operates for non-native Arabic speakers.
