Company Owner Fined AED 400 Thousand For Employing Laborers In Violation of Sponsorship Rules

Dubai Naturalization & Residency Prosecution referred a director of a human resources consulting company to the court on charge of employing foreigner not on his sponsorship and failing to comply with the rules of the sponsorship, as he employed seven violators arrested by the competent authorities.

The Naturalization & Residency Court ruled to impose on the accused (company director) a fine of 400 Hundred Thousand UAE Dirhams as per the number of violating laborers in the case. It also imposed a fine of One Thousand UAE Dirham on each laborer violating the sponsorship rules followed by deportation form the country, for the charge of working for other sponsor and staying in the country illegally.
