Man convicted for offending fans of a sports club

Al Ain Appeal Court convicted a man and fines him AED 50,000, confiscated the devices used, deleted the data related to the crime, and banned him from using “Twitter” for a year after the accused tweeted inappropriate images that offended the fans of a sports club—explaining that the attitude has nothing to do with sportsmanship, honest competition between the clubs and public morals.
