Umm Al Quwain Announces Ban on Single-Use Plastic Bags

Umm Al Quwain Executive Council issued a decision regarding banning the use of single-use plastic bags in the emirate, as of January 1, 2023, and replacing them with multi-use bags, with certain standards approved by the Umm Al Quwain Municipality Department, or bags made of paper or cloth.
