Covid infections cross 440,093,621; death toll at 5,990,912 worldwide

More than 440,093,621 people have been reported to be infected by the coronavirus globally, and 5,990,912 have died so far, while 372,792,463 recovered, according to the latest figures released by the Worldometer COVID-19 Data.

Infections have been reported in more than 224 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in December 2019.
