During media briefing: UAE enters the recovery phase from COVID-19

Dr. Taher Al-Amiri, the spokesman for “NCEMA”:

 • Efforts to contain the pandemic in cooperation with all sectors of the country have yielded, as we witness today, a significant decrease in the number of infections and a plan to gradually ease restrictions and return to normal life.

 • His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, announced that we had passed the most difficult part of the challenge, and we must maintain the progress that has been achieved in combating the pandemic over the past period.

 • The positive indicators confirm the country’s entry into the recovery phase from the pandemic due to the decrease in the number of infections and the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions.

 • The quarantine protocol will remain in place for the infected people without the requirement to wear the wristband.
