In cooperation with Ajman Police, Abu Dhabi Police have arrested two Asians who used phone hoaxes to entrap victims and seize their savings and bank balances in deceitful ways.
The police have seized a number of mobile phones, SIM cards and a sum of money which they used at their fraudulent activities.
People have been advised not to respond to unknown phone numbers.
They are urged to report such cases to authorities immediately by contacting Aman service on the toll-free number (8002626) or via text message (sms2828).
