The UN elected the UAE as one of five members to the Security Council 2022-2023

Mohammed bin Rashid: Thanks to the Emirati diplomatic team led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the UAE has been elected as a member to the Security Council for 2022-2023. This reflects the UAE’s active diplomacy, international position and distinguished development model. We look forward to an active and positive membership in the UN Security Council.
