Abu Dhabi Police warns of dangers of using wood and charcoal burners indoors

Abu Dhabi Police released a fresh warning against the risks of asphyxiation and fires caused by using charcoal and wood heaters inside homes.

People have been urged to follow safety measures when using wood and charcoal burners overnight. They should use burners outside rooms or use proper ventilation. cords should be inspected for any possible defects and should not be placed under carpets.

Moreover, children should not be allowed to play near heaters. When leaving the home or while sleeping, heaters should be turned off.
