UAE bans the import of all types of live birds from Ireland

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment confirms that Irland has recorded a high pathogenic strain of bird flu, and thus has taken the following proactive measures to prevent the spread of pathogens in the country:

1- Banned the import of all types of live domestic and wild birds and ornamental birds.

2- Regulated the import of table eggs, poultry meat, and its products.

3- Continued to clear thermally treated poultry products.

4- Rejected consignments containing table eggs and poultry meats produced post-November 18 in Wicklow county.
