RAK: The death of a citizen in a collision accident

Ras Al Khaimah Police: The death of a 20-year-old citizen in a collision accident in Adhen area yesterday. The accident occurred when the deceased was overtaking but a water tank truck was parked on the side of the road irrigating plants. He failed to avoid it and crashed into the tank.

Brigadier General Ahmed Al Sam Al Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police stated that the operations room had received the accident report at 8:30 am, and all the concerned parties had rushed to the scene.

The deceased was transferred to Saqr Hospital while the accident file was referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures.

Al Naqbi urged drivers and road users to pay attention, avoid being pre-occupied while driving, and to adhere to speed limits to avoid such tragic accidents.
