Ajman and Abu Dhabi police arrest the fake prize gang

Ajman Police and Abu Dhabi Police have managed to arrest an Asian gang of seven members, who defrauded other people by claiming to win fake prizes with the intent to seize their money. The police have raided their apartment in a residential tower in Al Rashdiya area Ajman and confiscated 19 mobile phones and 70 sim cards used in scams.

The Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department of Ajman Police praised the efficiency and expertise of the criminal investigation officers and the unlimited cooperation and support of the Abu Dhabi Police which enabled them to arrest the accused. The public is urged to decline the hoax calls and to directly report them.
