3 people were referred to “Criminal Court” due to AED 2500

Dubai Public Prosecution has referred 3 people to criminal court on the charges of kidnapping and impersonating a public figure. The defendants had attacked the victim, forced him to get into their vehicle and requested him to pay AED 5,000, claiming that they were security officers.

The victim did not have enough money, so they asked him to borrow half of the amount from one of his friends, but they got arrested upon their arrival to his friend.
