Penalty for giving false information during investigations

Public Prosection: Any person who gives false information of his identity in a judicial or administrative investigation shall be punished by jail sentence for no more than two years or a fine of not more than AED 50,000. The same punishment shall apply to any person who gives false personal information to a public servant during or in the course of fulfillment of his duty.
