Abu Dhabi: Snap Chat leads two young men to court with harassment charges

Abu Dhabi court has convicted two young men of harassing a female in a shopping mall, asking her about the time, complementing her, and asking for her Snap Chat account.

The two youths were sentenced to one month in jail and Dh10,000 fine each on Wednesday. The female reported the incident to police after 10 days.

The police traced the account to the owner and called the man and his friend in for questioning.

The first suspect denied the incident, claiming he was sitting in the car the entire time. The second suspect confessed to the charge but claimed the woman took the account name by her will.
