Abu Dhabi: No positive cases of COVID19 among inmates of correctional facilities

Abu Dhabi Police, Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, Department of Health-Abu Dhabi and FAB, have implemented innovative preventative measures to maintain the health and safety of inmates in Abu Dhabi, protecting them against the spread of COVID-19, and leading to zero positive cases amongst inmates.

These initiatives include activation of several digital and self-services systems, distance litigation, online money transfers to inmates’ bank accounts, electronic monitoring, and increased capacity of facilities.
