RAK: Emirati family of 19-members survives a fire at their house

Nineteen Members of a local family survived the burning of their two-story house in Al-Muraydeh district of Ras Al Khaimah.

Informed sources in the Department of Civil Defense in Ras Al Khaimah stated: ” The incident took place last Thursday afternoon, the teams concerned, fire and rescue teams, and the National Ambulance were immediately sent to the scene. Once the teams arrived it turned out that the fire took over the contents of 3 rooms.

The teams immediately secured the 19 members of the family, then immediately extinguished the fire to prevent it from spreading to other locations of the house, as well as using a smoke suction machine and opening the windows of the house for ventilation.
