Abu Dhabi: 12-storey residential building fire has been controlled

Abu Dhabi Civil Defense controlled a fire that broke out this evening in an apartment on the seventh floor in a 12-storey residential building in Al Maamoura area, and cooling operations are underway which blocked the spread of fire to the neighboring buildings. Residents were safely evacuated, while suffocation cases were reported and transferred to the hospital for treatment.
