Prof. Al Sheikh-Ali: There are two strains of coronavirus in the UAE

Prof. Alawi Sheikh Ali, the official spokesman of the advanced science sector in the country: The study of the genomic sequence of 24 out of 25 cases revealed that they belong to strain B of the Coronavirus, most of whom come from European countries. Only one case out of 25 belongs to strain A which was for a visitor coming from Wuhan, China.
