The acquittal of a worker for bringing psychotropic substances

Sharjah Misdemeanor Court acquitted a packing and packaging worker from the charge of possessing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, where the worker admitted that he had brought them upon the request of his sponsor. The lawyer stated that the seized drug belonged to the sponsor’s wife as she had authorized medical prescriptions for these drugs.
