MOHAP reports 283 new coronavirus cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention reports 283 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 2359, and the recovery of 19 patients, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 186.

The Ministry announced the death of an Asian man – the total death toll in the country is 12. The ministry expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and wished those infected a speedy recovery calling on members of the public to adhere to precautionary measures including social distancing.

The ministry also called upon residents and citizens to adhere to restrictions that are in place while following health guidelines and social distancing.
