Tried to avoid a traffic violation, got involved in a “crime”

Dubai Criminal court began the trial of a security guard who physically and verbally assaulted a public employee while slipping him a traffic violation that he committed during an accident. He yelled “I am an officer in my country, and I want to speak to an officer like me”.  He resulted in transforming a simple traffic violation to a crime.
