CCTV detects a defendant who played a victim role

Dubai criminal court sentenced an Asian man to one year in prison followed by deportation who had assaulted an Asian tailor on a public road and stole his money violently, impersonating an investigation officer.

The defendant took the victim to the police claiming that he assaulted and robbed him, but Dubai police revealed his trick after reviewing the surveillance camera.
