Dubai: African maid found guilty of stealing 227,000 Dhs from her employer’s house

An African maid was found guilty of stealing jewelery, precious watches and money, a total of 227,000 dirhams from the home of her Arab employer who was outside the house with her mother.

According to investigations, the maid took advantage of her employer going to the hospital with her mother, who was getting treated for a serious disease. She betrayed the trust of her employer and stole 16,000 dirhams in cash, 6 gold bracelets worth 45 thousand dirhams and 4 diamonds watches with a value of 218 thousand dirhams.
