Video / Rainy winter weather in the country … Important warnings for drivers

Several regions in the country is witnessing rainfall today such as: Sharjah, Dubai, Um al-Quwain and Ras al-Khaimah. “Northwesterly winds accompanied with dust load and blowing dust resulting in low visibility at times,” the NCM said.

NCM urged to take the necessary measures and follow up the weather forecast, and comply with the issued directions.

The center also published a video of a mixture of rain and snow on Jabal Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

Dubai Police also published a video on its Twitter account, “Driving safely should be your number one concern behind the wheel. Kindly comply with traffic rules during rainy & unstable weather”, such as: making sure the windshield wipers are working in good condition, using the normal light of the headlights, and using the warning light in emergency cases.
