Ajman: Insurance company required to compensate a man with AED 1.8 million

Ajman’s Federal Court of Appeal ruled that an insurance company is required to pay a sum of one million, 826 thousand and 660 dirhams to compensate for the damages a local man experienced after a traffic accident, where he was hit by a vehicle that is insured by the company.
Lawyer Hussain Al Hosani, who was present on behalf of the victim, explained that on March 28, 2012, the victim collided with another vehicle while driving. The forensic report stated that the victim was injured by the traffic accident resulting in a head injury and a bone fracture of the left eye. This resulted in headaches and a memory impairment of 15%. His lower left limb’s nerves were also damaged, resulting in complete paralysis of the left foot. He therefore underwent several surgeries, both in the country and abroad.
