Emirati girl hand detached in a bike accident

An Emirati girl met a tragical accident while riding a bicycle that got her hand entirely detached from her body. The injured girl was later airlifted to another emirate.

According to a source, the girl name is (Sh.A.A), 14 years old, where the incident occurred at 2:00 pm on one of the areas. The girl was transferred to Saqr Government Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah where she had undergone treatment and her amputated hand was kept in ice to remain safe until the deportation to another hospital for hand replantation, it is not yet known whether the girl’s hand had been replanted or not.
Parents should be careful and take all precautionary measures when children ride bikes especially during the winter season and school holidays, in light of the recurrence of bicycle accidents in various Emirates.
