The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning on Thursday advising residents of fog formation and reduced horizontal visibility.
In a tweet, the Met shared a map highlighting the areas of the country which will be affected by fog. In some parts of the map, visibility will be reduced to less than 1,000 metres. Some low clouds have also been forecast.
Additionally, motorists driving through areas marked as red on the NCM’s map are advised to stop driving until the fog has cleared out.
The alert is valid until 8am today.
