The death of two Emirati children due to car fire

Two Emirati children age 18-months and 3-year-old died after being left inside a vehicle which caught blaze at Al Mina area. Investigation are still ongoing to determine the reason behind the fire.

Abu Dhabi Police expressed their deep condolences over this tragic incident.

Brigadier Mohammad Suhail al-Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, said that the Command and Control Center at the Operations Department received a report of the incident and the ambulance and rescue teams immediately rushed to the scene. The incident file was transferred to the competent police station to determine the reason behind the fire.
 
Brigadier Al-Rashidi warned from the dangers of leaving children in vehicles on their own, and pointed out that leaving them is a serious risk that could lead to death.
