Weather alert: To be partly cloudy with rainfall in some areas

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicted Saturday and the next three days weather could be partly cloudy to cloudy with heavy rainfall on different parts of the country, due to rainy cumulative clouds, especially on the coasts, islands and northern and eastern regions.

The NCM indicated the winds would occasionally blow actively, and would whip up dust.

According to the NCM, the winds might be southeasterly to northeasterly, moderate to active, especially with clouds. They are reported to blow at a speed of 20 to 35 up to 45 kilometres/hour.

The sea was expected to be moderate but disturbed with cloud activity in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman, it is expected to be also moderate.

The centre noted that temperatures could drop on Sunday, and the winds might be sometimes active and dust stirring.
