The UAE’s first astronaut Hazzaa AlMansoori is returning to Earth, the separation burn completed

The UAE’s first astronaut Hazzaa AlMansoori is returning to Earth today and will land at 2.59pm, UAE time.

The separation burn completed at 11.41am (UAE time)

Hazzaa AlMansoori tweeted before undocking the Soyuz ship:

“We are about to undock from the ISS. Another challenge is wandering around. With fear and pride, I am returning with Zayed’s ambition achieved. We are not done yet, and we will never be. To bring back the golden era of arab astronauts.”
