Abu Dhabi police arrested an Asian gang of 11 members over phone prizes scam. The gang sends text messages scamming people and making them think they won cash prizes. They would then ask for their bank details to transfer the money.
Credit cards, banknotes, cheque books, SIM cards and money were found in the gang’s possession and confiscated.
