Dubai Design District (d3) has long been one of Dubai’s most recognised hubs for design, culture and creativity. Now, it is entering a new era, evolving into a residential neighbourhood designed for people who want to live at the heart of the city’s creative energy.
Meraas has unveiled an expanded residential masterplan for d3, spanning 18 million sq ft and strategically located between Downtown Dubai and Dubai Creek, along the Dubai Water Canal. Five distinct areas will shape the neighbourhood, from waterfront residences and boutique hospitality along the canal to an urban core with dining and retail, a cultural heart overlooking the d3 Bowl, wellness-focused residential settings with parks and sports facilities, and dedicated creative spaces with galleries, studios and loft-style workspaces.
Momentum around the district is already strong. The recent sell-out of Atelis Residences highlights growing demand for waterfront homes within d3. This will be followed by the upcoming launch of The Edit, one of the first waterfront residential opportunities in the district’s next chapter, offering buyers an early chance to secure a home in one of Dubai’s most central locations.
