Passport Renewal for Emirati Citizens Up to One Year Before Expiry

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security has announced that Emirati citizens may now renew their passports up to one full year prior to the expiration date, instead of the previous six-month limit.

This service will be available starting Monday, August 18, 2025, through the smart services platform.
