7-year-old child dies after being left in vehicle in Sharjah

Sharjah Police issued a caution regarding the hazards of hiring unlicensed drivers to transport children to schools, following a tragic incident where a child lost his life inside a vehicle this afternoon in one of the emirate’s areas.

Investigation revealed that an Asian parent had engaged a female driver to transport his children to school. Upon arrival, everyone disembarked except for a 7-year-old child, who was inadvertently left locked inside the vehicle near the school premises.

The child remained unnoticed until the end of the school day, when was found dead inside the vehicle.
