The crescent of Safar as sighted in Abu Dhabi

The International Astronomy Center: The crescent of the end of Safar was captured a while ago by Al Khatam Astronomical Observatory in Abu Dhabi.

The distance between the moon and the sun is 8.4 degrees, so sighting Rabi’ al-Awwal crescent tomorrow from the Arab world will be difficult, and slightly possible through a telescope from some parts of the Western Arab world.
