UAE President directs allocation of AED7.3m to support municipality of Hebron City in Palestine

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has directed the allocation of AED7.3 million to support the municipality of Hebron City in Palestine.

This initiative comes as part of the UAE’s humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people. It will be implemented by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in cooperation with the Emirati-Palestinian Friendship Club.

DMT has held a meeting to discuss the implementation process and how to enhance cooperation in municipal work.

His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, welcomed the Palestinian delegation, reaffirming UAE leadership’s keenness in supporting the Palestinian people. The grant will contribute to the ongoing development of Hebron City.
